It's Flu Season

This Flu season let's take extra care of ourselves. Wash your hands with warm soapy water for at least 20 seconds, cough into your shoulder or the bend of your arm, use alcohol-based hand sanitizers until you get a chance to wash your hands. Stay away from those who are sick and if you are sick stay home, wear a face mask and contact your medical provider. And getting vaccinated is probably a good idea, too.

Flu symptoms:

  • fever of 100 degrees or more
  • cough and/or sore throat

Reported H1N1 flu symptoms:

  • runny/stuffy nose
  • body aches
  • headaches
  • chills
  • fatigue
  • some diarrhea and vomiting

for more information including the Emergency Warning symptoms and High Risk Categories go to :

Stay informed... the more you know, the better prepared you will be!
